The Independent Panorama is a not-for-profit urban company located in Greece.
GOALS
Our goal is to present new creators in the cinema field
• Give the chance to directors to express themselves
• Gather young creators with common goals
• Help them get in contact
• Let them discuss with the audience
• Exchange new ideas and technology knowledge
• Help them present their work to other festivals as well
• Show their work in Athens as well as in other Greek cities
• Rejuvenate Greek cinema industry
• Encourage people to get to know the art of cinema and film making
• Show different cultures, ideas, opinions from and to, people from all over the world
ACTIVITIES
A. ORGANISING THE FESTIVAL
Organizing an independent video and film festival for young artists.The festival is open to all people, from wherever they are in the world to show their work, express themselves and communicate their thoughts and feelings. Most of them have very low (if not zero) budgets, and strive to do the best they can. Our festival can be their first step to present their work in public.
It is organized mostly by young people and mainly targets in young people.

Projections of the awarded Panorama films in 38 cities in Greece
The International Panorama of Independent Film Makers (www.independent.gr) having existed for 11 years hopes to present an effluence of sounds and pictures which will unite various cultures and promote diversity. Our goal is to continue "the dream of art's freedom ".
